Welcome to Hans Vos Photography
Hans Vos (Nijmegen, 1960)
Since 1977, I have embraced the art of photography, when I bought my first (second-hand) SLR camera somewhere in Rotterdam. It was a Zenith E, a Russian (Soviet) camera.
What began as a hobby quickly grew into a professional interest in photography. I completed my training at the Photography School in Apeldoorn during the era of transition from analog to digital photography.
Since 2008, I have been working as a freelance photographer. Since then, I have published several books, won awards, had my photos featured in books and magazines, and exhibited my work in various exhibitions.
After many years of assignments, personal projects, and traveling, I have developed my own style, characterized by strong compositions and proportions, focusing on subjects such as architecture, urban and industrial landscapes, and nature. Whether in color or black and white, I strive to capture the essence of the subject with a unique and personal touch.
My darkroom consists of Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom, and I work in both color and black and white, occasionally using infrared techniques.
